Originally released via Bandcamp in March 2020, the hope was that this collection of tracks would appeal to those more discerning folk looking for some deep and introspective sounds to fill their homes with. Purposely programmed pieces, designed to promote peace.

Following a most favourable reception from numerous happy listeners - several of whom enquired as to the possibility of a vinyl version - it was decided that the time was at last right to do the decent thing and get a record label off the ground, making this music a physical reality.

A few encouraging words from friends in the business, some helpful connections made, a lovely remaster for wax courtesy of good pal & sometime collaborator Linkwood, numerous delays later - turns out getting records made is a lengthy process - and the finished article has finally appeared.

Circles And Phases seeks produce further fruits in the coming seasons, whether from the archives of Other Lands or from other music making friends. This is just the first phase, with many more sonic circles to come.
